ROAR Logistics Associates Drive Change in their Communities

Since its inception in 2003, ROAR Logistics, a subsidiary of Rich Products, has grown to become one of the top 75 third party logistics providers in North America and a leading global freight forwarder by taking a unique customer-focused approach to logistics. But their ability to mobilize logistical efforts extends beyond its customers and into their communities with their charitable efforts.

ROAR associates share Rich’s commitment to bettering the communities in which they live and work. With more than 130 associates in 8 offices across the country, including Atlanta, Buffalo, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Murrieta, Pekin and San Francisco, the ROAR team has made a significant impact on communities across the US.

“Our team works tirelessly to deliver for our customers and we’ve grown a strong business thanks to their dedication to our vision and mission,” said Bob Rich III, President, ROAR Logistics, Inc. “But being a socially responsible corporate citizen requires the efforts of all of our associates, individually and as a group, to give back to the communities in which we live and operate and their efforts do not go unnoticed.

The ROAR team supports more than 50 charitable organizations each year with a wide range of services, including social welfare, disease prevention, shelters, animal support groups, childcare and educational support services, addiction services, food banks, elder care and more. In addition to financial support, associates give countless hours of their time in many volunteer capacities with these local organizations, schools and sporting clubs.  Rich says that the company often matches the charitable contributions raised by its associates.

Associates in Buffalo, Dallas, Murrieta and San Francisco fight hunger by donating to food banks, shelters and Meals on Wheels programs. During the holiday season, ROAR associates band together to raise funds and support families in need across the country. Teams in Houston, Chicago, Atlanta and Buffalo adopt local families each year and spread holiday cheer to those less fortunate.
